The Angiogenesis Research Center
offers a turn key approach to angiogenic and myogenesis development with the bench
to bedside paradigm. The Center provides rapid in vitro testing of novel
angiogenic cytokines, transcriptional factors, and cells leading to in vivo models.
In vivo models include the mouse matrigel model, mouse and rat myocardial infarction
and hind limb ischemia model, rabbit hindlimb ischemia model, and porcine (normal and diseased) myocardial ischemia
models. This is followed by assistance with IND/IDE submission and pilot
clinical trial design and execution. This enables rapid bench to bedside
evaluation of promising compounds.
